Emergency Preparedness Resources

(Coming Soon!)

We are working on helpful emergency preparedness tips designed for youth, families, and people with accessible and functional needs.

This page will include practical information, planning tools, and resources to help individuals and families prepare for emergencies in a way that is inclusive and easy to understand.

Quarterly Emergency Preparedness Workshops:

The Center for Accessible Living hosts quarterly Emergency Preparedness Workshops in partnership with Kentucky State University (KSU) Cooperative Extension Program, Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness, Norton Children’s, and the Pediatric Pandemic Network (PPN).

Through these workshops, we share emergency preparedness education, tools, and resources designed to support youth, families, and people with accessible and functional needs. Many of the preparedness resources available through our center come directly from these partnerships.

Information about upcoming workshops and events will be posted on this page as they become available.
