The CAL Collective
Different Voices. Shared Stories. Better Together.

About The CAL Collective
The CAL Collective is a community initiative of the Center for Accessible Living (CAL) focused on bringing people together through storytelling, meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and creative expression.
Our goal is to create an inclusive space where individuals from all backgrounds can connect, exchange ideas, explore new perspectives, and build relationships.
Through podcasts, books, personal stories, publications, and other opportunities for engagement, The CAL Collective encourages community participation and celebrates the experiences and perspectives that make each person unique.
The CAL Collective is open to everyone, regardless of location, disability status, or previous involvement with CAL.

The CAL Collective Podcast
Our podcast will feature conversations with individuals from different backgrounds, exploring personal experiences, community issues, advocacy, and topics that encourage meaningful discussion and new perspectives.
Book & Media Club
More than a traditional book club, this group will explore books, audiobooks, podcasts, articles, videos, and other media. Participants will have opportunities to share their thoughts, discuss different perspectives, and connect through common interests.
Stories Worth Sharing
Everyone has a story worth telling. This initiative will provide opportunities for individuals to share personal experiences, achievements, challenges, and perspectives. Our goal is to highlight diverse voices and encourage understanding through storytelling.
The CAL Collective Magazine
Published twice a year, The CAL Collective Magazine will feature personal stories, community highlights, informative articles, creative contributions, and other content that reflects the interests and experiences of our community.
Community Connections
The CAL Collective will continue exploring new ways to bring people together through discussions, collaborative projects, creative opportunities, and community engagement.
Get Involved
The CAL Collective is designed to be a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone has an opportunity to participate.
Whether you're interested in sharing your story, contributing to the magazine, joining a discussion, or exploring new ideas, there are many ways to become involved.
You do not need to live in Kentucky, have a disability, or receive services from CAL to participate.
We encourage individuals to share their interests, experiences, and ideas as The CAL Collective continues to grow.
Stay Connected
The CAL Collective is growing, with new projects, opportunities, and resources on the way!
Additional information, participation opportunities, and links to individual projects will be added to this page as they become available.
