We at the Center For Accessible Living are gearing up for the 5th annual Independence University set for summer 2017! Held at Kosair Charities in the Community Room June 13th-16th 1-4 PM, this four day event is a crash course in the skills and information you need to live independently. See the attached program schedule. This program is open to people with disabilities ages 16 and up as well as service providers and family members. It is especially beneficial for young adults moving out on their own for the first time or those who are interested in doing so and want more information. If you want to live independently, you don’t want to miss any of this great information! And it is FREE! Attend all four days and be entered to win a food/entertainment gift package!
